The Dutch post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh, who celebrated his 167th birthday in 1678, was a great success. This exhibition, which was celebrated yesterday by the Van Gogh Museum and other art lovers from around the world, has painted various landscapes with flowers (mainly roses, lilacs, irises, sunflowers), cypresses, flower gardens and gardens. Some of Van Gogh’s works reflect his interest in the use of color, while ukiyo-e, an expression that describes the Japanese art academy, depicts everyday objects used in the 17th and 19th centuries. The century is dominated.

The artist created about 2100 works of art, including about 860 oil paintings, most of which in the last two years of his life. These are landscapes, still lifes, portraits and self-portraits, characterized by strong colours and expressive brushstrokes. This style has made an important contribution to the foundation of contemporary art.

Van Gogh believes that the effect of color goes beyond the description. Colour expresses something in itself, he said. For him, yellow was the symbol of emotional truth. It is known that the artist used yellow as a symbol for sunlight, life and God in his works.

The painting Lentethuin or Lentetuin, a painting from 1884 that represents the spring garden of the pastoral church in Neunen, was stolen last night from the Singer Larena Museum in the Netherlands, according to the museum. The museum was closed due to an outbreak of the coronavirus. The painting is on loan from the Museum of Groningen.

The oil painting on paper measuring 25 x 57 cm shows a man standing in a garden surrounded by trees with a church tower in the background.

The Singer-Lauren-Museum, located to the east of Amsterdam, reports that the garden of the parish of Nuenen was taken over by a Dutch master one early Monday morning in the spring of 1884. At the beginning of the afternoon, outside the museum there was only a large white panel covering a broken door in the glass facade of the building.

The director general of the museum, Evert van Os, said that the institution that houses the collection of the American couple William and Anna Singer was angry, shocked and saddened by the theft.

Van Gogh’s paintings, which are seldom offered for sale, reach millions at auction. The police are investigating the robbery.

I am shocked and incredibly angry that this happened, says Lauren Rudolf de Lorm, director of the Singers Museum.

This beautiful and moving painting by one of our greatest artists has been stolen – removed from the community, he added. It’s very bad for the Groninger Museum, it’s very bad for the singer, but it’s terrible for all of us, because art exists to be visible and shared by us, the community, to inspire and comfort, especially in these difficult times.

The parish garden of Nuenen in the spring dates back to the time when the artist returned to his family in the countryside in the Netherlands and painted the life he had seen, including his famous works by the Potato Eaters, mostly in dark earthy tones, especially dark brown, and showed no signs of the light colours that characterized his later works.

Van Gogh developed a much more colorful and lively style of painting when his health deteriorated before his death in 1890.

A police statement shows that one or more thieves broke open a glass door to enter the museum. This triggered an alarm that the officers rushed to the museum, but by the time they got to the painting and the person who had stolen it was already gone.

The team, which consisted of criminologists and art thief specialists, reviewed the video footage and interviewed the neighbours. Mr Van Os said that the museum’s security works according to protocol, but of course he added that we can learn from this.

The 12th. On 3 March, the Dutch government banned a large number of measures to prevent the spread of the virus, resulting in the temporary closure of a number of museums.

For the closure of the museum, the Mirror of the Soul exhibition was organised in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, in which works by artists from Ian Turope to Piet Mondriaan can be seen.

Singer Lahren’s collection focuses on modernism, such as neo-impressionism, pointillism, expressionism and cubism.

This is not the first large-scale museum robbery. In 2007, thieves stole seven works from his sculpture garden, including a bronze cast of the thinker Auguste Rodin. The famous statue was found a few days later, boneless.
