The Bhilwara insulation model worked in several phases. The first task was to isolate the area, the second was a verification strategy in urban and rural areas, and the third was quarantine and containment, followed by a control mechanism for rural areas, said Rajendra Bhatt, a district collector who led a group of officials in the war against Covida-19.

To isolate the area, a curfew was set on the day the first case was dealt with. It was from the 20th. From March to March 2. April. During this period, basic services were excluded from the Order.

We’ve sealed the district boundaries and set up checkpoints at all entrances and exits. Road and rail traffic has been stopped and private vehicles are not allowed to drive, Bhatt said.

Once the area was isolated, the administration established a protection zone 1 km from the epicentre – the Briesch Bangers Memorial Hospital (BBMH), a private institution whose doctors and staff were the first to test positive, and a buffer zone 3 km away. Similar containment and buffer zones have been created around the home of a positive patient.

Based on the cluster mapping, we identified six districts and sent special teams to continuously search for suspicious cases in these districts, the collector said.

During this phase, the following facilities were disinfected on a daily basis: the containment and buffer zone, the location of positive cases, all ambulances and police vehicles, the inspection and quarantine station, the collection point, the police line and points of sale to the public, and the municipal offices.

During the second phase of the curfew, from the 3rd to the 13th day of the curfew. In April, even basic facilities are forbidden in the city. In this period there is no relaxation. We provide door-to-door deliveries of basic necessities such as vegetables, fruit and milk to residents and bags of food to the poor, Bhatt said.

For screening, screening groups trained by medical specialists are conducted on symptoms of Covid-19 ILI (flu-like disease), who screen people with a history of foreign travel and give priority to people affected by epicentres and migrant populations. There’s a supervisor for every 10 investigation teams.

Screening and testing was a priority for Bridgesh Banger Memorial Hospital. Patients were admitted to the intensive care unit, doctors and nurses, EITI and EPI patients, people who had contact with positive cases, nurses and other staff were examined, and all suspicious cases were placed in home quarantine, said the collector.

He said that a special screening and testing centre has been set up at MG Hospital, Covida Hospital. In these centres, persons in government vehicles were taken for inspection and testing and then sent back. During the examination, doctors and nurses carried out physical examinations and thermal imaging. If someone had symptoms or had been in contact with a positive patient, samples were taken and sent to prison, Bhatt said. He said government cars delivered these samples to Jaipur three times a day for daily testing.

For each positive patient, close contacts were made in the isolation rooms and level 2 contacts in the quarantine facility. The county council used 1541 rooms in 27 hotels as quarantine centers.

In addition to hotel rooms, the administration also had 11,659 quarantine beds in 22 institutions and hostels. MG Hospital has 200 beds. The capacity can be increased to 427 seats. Four private hospitals with 25 beds each were also purchased.

Combat Aircraft aircraft and Crown captains were deployed in cities and rural areas to observe, Bhatt said. In the city the Divisional Magistrate (SDM) is the Head of the Crown, and ASHA and ANM are the Crown fighters. In the villages at the level of the panchayat and the sarpancha, the BDOs and the tehildars at the level of the panchayat and the sarpancha are soldiers of the crown, the suhayaks of the panchayat, the teachers and ashaa are soldiers of the crown at village level.

Crown captains and fighter planes are observing people quarantining in homes, checking food supplies, food bags, the flow of migrant workers and public order, the collector said.

Bhatt said that in other cities the source of Kovid 19’s infection was known, while in Bhilwar it was not known by whom the doctor was infected. Ask him to summarize his efforts in one line, and he will tell you A model of ruthless deterrence and cooperation of the peoples in our war against Covid-19.
