Alex Winter, the star of the Bill & Ted franchise, has bought food and products for many of his fans, adding a growing list of celebrities who are doing their best to help others in need. The closure of companies in general and the fact that many people have become unemployed and have an uncertain future have caused millions of people to suffer, many of whom are facing serious financial problems in these turbulent times. While incentives have been put in place for Americans, those who are short of money and food must now find ways to survive the next few days without starving to death.

When they saw an opportunity to help, Star Bill and Ted went on Twitter to offer financial help to their followers. If you urgently need products, I’ve been opening [direct messages] for a while, so write me a Venmo account and I’ll help who I can. Winter twittered this weekend and encouraged the fans to send in their information so he could send money directly to them. Winter then turned off his direct messages, which were probably full of requests for help, although he noticed on the following Twitter pages that he had received everything. Be healthy and safe, adds Bill and Ted’s star and the smiling face of prayer.

POWERFUL : Bill and Ted are three stars that plague the most triumphant return of the dead.

Although he has appeared in several films, including The Lost Boys, Death Wish 3 and The Freak, Winter is perhaps best known for his role as Bill S. Preston, the Balancer in the 1989 comedy The Magnificent Adventure of Bill and Ted and his 1991 sequel in The Travel of Bill and Ted on the Fake. In addition to Keanu Reeves as Theodore Ted Logan, the films show two of the fans’ favourite films as a couple of idlers and aspiring musicians whose music will one day change mankind forever. Whether visiting historical figures from the past or literally traveling through heaven and hell, Bill and Ted make every moment of their adventure a pleasure with their legendary images of Winter and Reeves.

After almost three decades we finally see Winter and Reeves again as title duo with the release of the new sequel of Bill & Ted Face the Music. Right now, the first one for the 21st. August 2020, but although the filming of the sequel is already finished, the release of the film on the screens may be delayed by recent events. Many major releases planned for spring and summer have already been put on hold with the closure of the theatres, which means there’s a good chance the same thing could happen to Bill & Ted Face the Music. That of course depends on how the coming weeks go, so that we can get a better idea of what the summer will look like.

It’s not uncommon for the stars of the show, Bill and Ted, to do what they can to help people. Reeves is also known for his charitable donations, and they even invited a young fan to the Bill & Ted 3 set during production to spend the day with them as part of the Make-a-Wish program. Bill and Ted may be great, but Winter and Reeves can be even better. In the meantime, those of us who have the means to help others should consider doing the same for so many in need. We received this message from Alex Winter on Twitter.

The stakes: Bill and Ted 3, Bill and Ted.
